Thank you for your interest in Elevate her: A Black Girl Summit. Elevate her is designed to focus on addressing the transitions to high school and post-secondary education, educational pathways, and increase the self-determination of Black girls and their guardians/supports in the Toronto area. Bringing together artists, activists, educators, policymakers, students and Black girl leaders themselves. Diary seeks to address the disadvantages that Black girls face, provide space for their voice and engagement opportunities for their Circle of Care (this could include parents, guardians and all adults who help to raise and take care of a child) and their communities while creating the political will to publicly empower and acknowledge their achievements, contributions, and leadership.
